YouCut – Vote on specific cuts to the bloated federal budget
by Charles Cherry
YouCut is a site where you can vote to cut specific items from the federal budget, then see which way the members of the house voted on those cuts.
The most recent weekly winner of the YouCut cut was to cut funding for those ridiculous, superfluous, monumentally wasteful stimulus propaganda signs (“This project paid for by blah blah blah…”). No one know for sure how much has been spent on those signs, but it is surely in the millions.
According to Aaron Schock (R-IL), the author of this YouCut suggestion, Illinois alone has already spent over $650,000 just on stimulus signage!
Visit the site. Vote. Hold your representatives accountable!
