Handy New Linq-to-SQL Tool
by Charles Cherry
Well, at least it’s new to me:
It’s called “Linqer.” It will convert T-SQL to LINQ, in either VB or C#, and will also create query classes for you. Very handy, especially if you are still trying to learn the ins and outs of LINQ.
For intance, I was trying to figure out how to convert something like this into LINQ:
SELECT [some columns] FROM [some table] WHERE PrimaryKey IN (Val1, Val2, …)
I dropped the query into Linqer, clicked the “translate to LINQ” button, and voila! Just what the doctor ordered.
Now, if I can just get my employer to spring for a license…
